Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Egzersiz ve Beslenme Durumlarının İncelenmesi Kütahya İli Örneği

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı üniversite öğrenimlerine devam eden öğrencilerin egzersiz seviyeleri ve beslenme davranışlarının çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemektedir. Çalışmaya Kütahya Dumlupınar Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören 679 öğrenci katılmıştır. Örneklem grubu, kolay ulaşılabilir örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Ölçme aracı olarak “Üç faktörlü beslenme anketi (TFEQ-18)” ile değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere korelasyon, bağımsız örneklem testi (T-testi) ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (One-Way ANOVA) uygulanmıştır. Katılımcıların egzersiz ve beslenme durumlarından duygusal yemek yeme alt boyutunda cinsiyet ve haftalık spor yapma (gün) değişkenlerine göre farklılık belirlenmiştir, p<0.05. Lisanslı spor yapma ile beslenme hakkında bilgi düzeyi değişkeni yönünden anlamlılık görülmemiştir, p>0.05. Beslenme hakkında bilgi düzeyi ile spor yapma arasında (r=.514), açlığa duyarlılık ile beslenme toplam puanı arasında (r=.672); duygusal yemek yeme ile beslenme toplam puan arasında (r=.617), bilinçli yemek yeme ile beslenme toplam (r=.672) puanları orta düzey ilişki görülmektedir. Sonuç olarak; Üniversite öğrencilerinde spor yapma eğiliminin artışına bağlı olarak beslenme durumlarındaki tutum artış göstermektedir. Kadınların beslenme tutumları erkeklere göre daha öndedir. Üniversite öğrencileri beslenme konusunda bilinçlendirilmeli ve fiziksel aktiviteye yönlendirilmelidir.
