Archiving Policy

Digital preservation is a set of processes and activities that ensure the retrieval and distribution of information now available in digital formats to guarantee long-term, perpetual access. The preservation policy includes the following measures.

1. The Publisher allows authors the use of the final published version of an article (publisher pdf) for self-archiving (author's personal website) and/or archiving in an institutional repository after publication.
2. Authors may self-archive their articles in public and/or commercial subject-based repositories. There is no embargo period but the published source must be acknowledged and a link to the journal home page or articles' DOI must be set.
3. Authors may download print of the article as a PDF document. Authors may send copies of the article to colleagues without embargo.
4. The publisher allow all versions of papers (Submitted version, Accepted version, Published version) to be deposited in an institutional or other repository of the author’s choice without embargo.

Website Archiving

All of the electronic content (website, manuscript, etc.) is stored in different sources. Content on a server is online and accessible to readers. A copy of the same content is preserved as a backup on other sources. Should a server fail, other resources can be brought online, and the website is expected to be available in 24 hours.

Long-term Preservation

The full text of all articles is deposited in CLOCKSS,  LOCKSS and PKP Preservation Network (PN) around the world to guarantee long-term digital preservation.

Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their articles on personal and institutional websites after publication (while providing full bibliographic details and a link to the original publication).
