Plantar Fleksörlere Uygulanan Kombine Köpük Yuvarlama ve Statik Pasif Esneme Egzersizlerinin Hareket Açıklığı ve Dikey Sıçrama Performansına Etkisi

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı plantar fleksörler kaslara uygulanan statik pasif esneme ve köpük yuvarlamanın kombine ve farklı sırayla kullanılmasının, karşı hareket sıçrama performansı ile dorsifleksiyon hareket açıklığına olan etkisini incelemektir. Çalışmaya rekreasyonel olarak direnç antrenmanı yapan 12 adet erkek ve 6 adet kadın gönüllü esasına dayalı olarak katılmıştır (yaş, 22.16 ± 6.61; boy, 1.75 ± 9.86, vücut kütlesi 73.92±17.06). Araştırmanın biri famirizasyon, üçü deneysel oturum olmak üzere toplam 4 oturumda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın birinci deneysel oturumunda katılımcıların dorsi fleksiyon hareket açıklıkları gonyometre kullanılarak ölçüldü ve dikey sıçrama yükseklikleri belirlenmiştir. İkinci gün, katılımcılara 5 dakikalık bisiklet ergometresi sonrasında önce 45 saniyelik köpük yuvarlama ardından 45 saniyelik statik pasif esneme uygulandı ve dikey sıçrama yükseklikleri ile dorsi fleksiyon açıları tekrardan ölçülmüştür. Üçüncü gün, 5 dakikalık bisiklet ergometresini takiben önce 45 saniyelik statik pasif esneme, sonra 45 saniyelik köpük yuvarlama uygulandı ve dikey sıçrama yükseklikleri ile dorsi fleksiyon açıları tekrar ölçülerek çalışma sonlandırılmıştır. Uygulanan protokol × eklem hareket açıklığı analizi sonucunda istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilmiştir (p = 0.022). Ardından yapılan Bofferoni düzeltmesi hipotezimizle pararel bir şekilde Statik+köpük yuvarlama uygulamasından sonra eklem hareket açıklığının kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı ölçüde arttığını tespit ederken, köpük yuvarlama+statik uygulamasından sonra anlamlı bir değişim tespit edilememiştir. Ancak öne sürdüğünüz hipotezimizin aksine uygulanan protokol × karşı hareket sıçrama yüksekliği analizi sonucunda istatiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark tespit edilememiştir (p = 0.768) . Araştırma sonucunda karşı hareket sıçrama yüksekliğinde azalma olmadan eklem hareket aralığını arttırmak için statik pasif esnemeyi takiben köpük yuvarlama kullanılmasının daha etkili olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan köpük yuvarlamayı takiben statik esneme uygulamasının karşı hareket sıçraması yüksekliğini etkilemese de eklem hareket aralığında anlamlı bir artış sağlamadığı gözlemlenmiştir.
